The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult more info to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
